Anil Bhanot OBE

Anil is the founder of Rita Trust, established to carry out charitable activities within the context of an exploration of Rita, the Natural Law that governs our lives. He was awarded his OBE in 2010, for services to the Hindu Community and to Inter-Faith Relations. Other voluntary positions include:

Dr Santosh Bhanot

Santosh has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and has worked as a Research Fellow at Kings College London and Nottingham University in the field of Biological Sciences. She was a Senior Scientist with a multinational pharmaceutical corporation. Her role within the Rita Trust is to engage with the community and facilitate grass-roots charitable projects, especially in the field of education, health and wellbeing. Her passion for this role is seen in the work she has done for several years as Trustee for Ealing Music Therapy www.ealingmusictherapy.org, a charity helping children with special educational needs integrate into mainstream schools.

Santosh is currently developing the Asian Professional Womens Circle in the UK for OXFAM which will aim to help support vulnerable and poor women in the Indian Subcontinent.
