Indian Visa section announced to be at the Peepul Centre LeicesterKeith Vaz MP who had been working for the Visa section to be opened at Leicester for several years invited the Indian Deputy High Commissioner Virender Paul to come and make the announcement on Thursday 30th May 2013. The VFS agency will be working with the Peepul Centre to set up an office at the Peepul Centre this year.

Olympics Opening CeremonyThe Red Arrows fly-past did their brilliant salute at exactly 20:12 and Danny Boyle’s extravaganza started at 9pm. It was a good show but for me lacked the ‘wow’ factor, maybe because I saw some of the special effects modelled on the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. I was expecting something visual on the Great British scientists and engineers, like Newton, Faraday, Brunel and so on but there was too much on emphasis on Film fantasies, still a good effort on the Industrial Revolution and the NHS. The Queen with James Bond was funny.
